Frank had one of the best attitudes I've ever seen in the radio room. Always laughing but very professional in his job. He did some acting with various county shows and had some true talent. Went on many group fishing and camping trips but never caught anything. He didn't care and I think he actually loved the teasings we would all offer. We have lost one of the good ones. Godspeed Frank And condolences to family and friends

Frank was one of the good guys on my Radio Room crew. He always had a good word and a smile for everyone who came to the Comm Room. He was conscientious on the phones when handling citizens and on the mike, his first though was always for the safety of his officers. We often called him "Fishless Frank" for his lack of prowess with rod and reel but he was always a welcome addition on our trips.
A recording of Frank dispatching on the mike was used as background in the Tom Selleck movie Runaway. We teased him about his star status and he enjoyed the rancor with his keen sense of humor.
Alas, another one of the keepers has gone 908D.

To the family, I am sorry to hear the news about your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1,2 *
