David Francis Dooley

David Francis Dooley, age 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 17, 1963 to Joseph and Mary (nee Dunham) Dooley and lived most of his life in Levittown, PA. David attended Harry S. Truman high school, class of 1982, and went on to attend Bucks County Community College and then Trenton State College, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He went on to have a successful 30-year career at New Jersey Manufacturers, where he made some of his lifelong friends. With his contagious laugh, kind heart, commitment to his family, and his pure love for true Rock'n'Roll, it was impossible for those who came into contact with David not to enjoy his company. He was always blasting music, singing (albeit off-tune at times), cracking jokes, and sharing stories that were of pure entertainment. David had a curious mind that would cause him to frequent exhibits at the Franklin Institute and orchestral performances at Verizon Hall. He was always cruising along on his personally designed cycling circuit through Tyler State Park and was looking forward to events like MGK's Let Freedom Rock Fest or literally any reunion tour. Aside from his infectious personality, the most admirable aspect of David's personality was his undeniable love for his family and friends. David was greeted in Heaven by his father, Joseph Dooley; mother, Mary (nee Dunham) Dooley; brother, Joseph Dooley; and sister, Cecilia Dooley. He is survived by his sons, Sean Dooley, Jared Dooley, and Liam Dooley; his sister, Kathleen Dooley; his brother, Kevin Dooley; and his many cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and of course, Baba. Family and friends are invited to David's Life Celebration on Saturday, March 17th, from 2PM – 4 PM, followed by his Memorial Service at 4 PM, at the Beck Givnish Life Celebration Home, 7400 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA 19055.
