John was an anchor and a rock for many of us. He was a father figure. From the moment we first met, I looked up to and always had the utmost respect for him. John was the genuine article.

So very sorry to hear about John's passing. I had the pleasure of working with John at Princeton University. He was always a very positive presence and one heck of a nice guy. My most sincere condolences to all of his family and friends.

Scott and I met John and Louise at Curtains Marina and have remained friends ever since. John was one of the best people we have ever known. He treated you with kindness and respect, had a heart of gold, his laughter was the greatest and expressed so often, and his love of Louise and the kids was unconditional. Our hearts are broken. You will be missed Johnny Angel. We wish you rest, relief and reunion.

John was a valuable member of the Princeton University Facilities team, where I worked closely with him for 16 years. He was a professional, inspiring, and caring leader. The University and all of us have lost a great friend and colleague. He will be missed. I join with all of his friends in offering my condolences and best wishes to his family.

My sweet, sweet friend. I am so grateful to have had an opportunity to know you. You were my teacher, my guide and my protector in a very rough industry. I will always be grateful to you for all you have taught me. To say I will miss your laugh, your fatherly advice and those long life lesson phone calls is a gross understatement. Your were truly a great gift to this world!!!

Met John in the late 70's when I joined the squad. Always remember his love of Oldies & the dances. He was funny and witty and a special person. Joking to myself a month ago, would he get in invited to Prince Harry's wedding since the boys went to school with William & Harry. Heaven really did gain an angel, will never forget you ....sorry we lost touch ...Love Helene Erb Hicks

It is with a tear in my eye and a break in my heart that I say goodbye to my greatest and best friend. The times we spent on the boat, the great dinners we shared together, and let's not forget the party's on the patio. God Bless You
