He was someone who you want to be a part of your family, and are blessed when your loved one finds them. My heart aches to know I will never hear him laugh or tell one of his appropriate jokes. He NEVER had ONE NEGATIVE thing to say about anyone!! He turned a negative into a positive, a grimace into a Grin. My girls and I adored him and the light he provided to all those around him. I also loved the way he looked at our Patty and the way he had her look at him. With such love, respect, and adoration.
I will always love him and will remember him as pure light in this dark world.
We love and miss you Uncle Jerry,
Michelle and The Girls xoxo

To the Renner Family, We were so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. We were fortunate to be with Jerry in October of 2017. Even after his stroke, Jerry still had a twinkle in his eye and a terrific sense of humor! He would name who was honking as they passed by the house! Here's a long distance "toot of the horn" from your cousins in Illinois! All our love and prayers to his family, Peggy, Brenda, Todd and Kim

Jerry you were probably the nicest, kindest man I have ever met. In the almost 15 years I knew you I don't recall you ever uttering a negative word about anyone and when a conversation started turning negative you would always change the course.
My 3 granddaughters adored you and still sing a song to the melody Old McDonald using Uncle Jerry had a farm. I lived in Humboldt County for about 10 years and during that time it seemed everyone knew "the Renners" and they all loved Jerry.
Jerry the world is better because of you and your influence, a little sadder because you are gone. But true to form you have requested a big party as a memorial. I am so sorry we will not be able to attend but my little family will honor you in spirit.
Thank you for taking care of my niece, your wife, Patty and her two boys, Colton and Hunter. You were so proud of your children, Brad, Brooke and Brett and you carried that over to my nephews. It was a pleasure knowing you and calling you family. You will live forever in our hearts. Heaven has a new outstanding angel. May you rest in peace.
