Judith Ann Corbett
Waukee - Judith Ann Corbett, 74, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Adel Acres in Adel, IA. Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Waukee United Methodist, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Waukee Cemetery in Waukee.
Judy was born March 3, 1944, in Waukee, to Clifford and Margaret (Johnson) Corbett. After graduating from Waukee High School in 1962 she worked as a administrative assistant for Farmers Casualty/State Auto Insurance Company for 42 years, retiring in 2008. Judy was an active member of Waukee United Methodist Church, where she participated in the UMW and church choir. She was also a member of the Insurance Association of Greater Des Moines, Inc., where she served in many capacities.
Judy enjoyed shopping, cats, getting her hair and nails done, traveling with friends, and family gatherings.
Judy is survived by her siblings, Hannah Weil of Waukee, Georgina Gionet of Urbandale, Mary McCoige of Waukee, and Richard "Dick" Corbett of Waukee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, David Corbett, and Jane Cunningham.
