Duane L. Ernest
October 24, 1926 - April 2, 2018
After a lengthy illness, Duane L. Ernest, 91, passed away at his home in Nampa, Idaho under the loving care of his immediate family with the wonderful assistance of Horizon Hospice on April 2, 2018. A WWII Army Veteran and gentleman in the truest sense of the word, Duane is survived by the love of his life and constant companion, his wife of 70 years, Betty Ernest, brother Gayle (Marilyn) Ernest, sister Rita (John) Wiseley, sons Mike and Lorrie (Sue), Ernest, daughter Becky (Joe) Reynolds, grandson Keenan (Dustin) Ernest, granddaughters Kayla (Kyel) Shippey and Tanya Reynolds, great granddaughter Nova Shippey, sister-in-law Dorothy Ernest, nephew Mark Ernest, sister-in-law Susan Ernest and numerous extended family and friends from Alaska to the lower 48 states. Duane is preceded in death by his immediate family members, parents Vern and Hazel Ernest and brothers Ike and Ron Ernest. In keeping with Duane's wishes, there will be no services. Gone but never forgotten, Happy Trails!
