If this is the JJm Thornton that lived in O'Fallon MO around 1964, then he was a friend of mine when i was in high school. He and I and another friend, Bill Hood, who was killed in 'Nam were great friends. Why reply now? I just heard a song that was popular when we ran around and it made me think of him and look him up. Regardless if this is my friend I offer my condolences. If it is my friend, you were lucky to have him in your lives. He was a kind, down to earth guy and I'm glad he was in my life.

Forever in our hearts. I will always remember the best camping and fishing with you. The time you helped me rescue Toby. The bike rides down the mudroad, the campfires we spent endless hours around, the crazy amount of heat you made come out of our woodstove on the farm, the last words you spoke to me;I'm proud of you, you have done well for yourself. I will never forget the huge garden we all took care of together, the rides in your big truck or the sweat pouring down your forehead and nose running like crazy but you would still put another jalapeno down! You were a part of every one of those memories and many more, I will forever hold near. Thank you for being grandpa to someone you didn't have to be. Love you, until we meet again rest easy.
