DERKAS MARGARET ANN
Age 83, of Versailles, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Born May 15, 1934, in Greensburg, she was a daughter of the late Emerson E. and Florence I. (Swauger) Miller. A secretary at the former Eger Motors in McKeesport and a member of St. Patrick's R.C. Church in Christy Park, Margaret passed hours after her husband, the late Charles James Derkas. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Lesowsky of Las Vegas, NV, Rachel McWilliams of Las Vegas, NV, and Callie Boyle of North Versailles; her brothers, Walter Stagg Miller of McKeesport and Russell B. Miller of New Castle; and also nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her siblings, Florence Starke, Hazel Ward, Donna Miller, Paul Miller, and Emerson E. Miller, Jr. Friends received in the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Boro, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454), on Sunday, April 22, 2018, from 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018, in St. Patrick's Church at 10 a.m. with Fr. Thomas Galvin officiating. Memorial contributions to the Versailles VFD, 4919 3rd St., McKeesport, PA 15132.

I didn't know either of your parents but I am so sorry for the loss of both of them within hours of each other. I can't imagine the pain you are going thru. So so sorry. Sandy Simmers
