Ina (Kaplan) Benjamin

Ina (Kaplan) Benjamin, 92, of Great Neck, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, April 28, 2018, in Malden, MA. She was a loving and caring woman who will be greatly missed. She was born in New York City on January 2, 1926, daughter of the late Dorothy and Harry Kaplan. Ina attended Kew Forest School, Queens College and Rhode Island School of Design. She was one of the founders of Gallery Soho 7 and was a board member of the Art Students League and The Sketch Box. Her surviving family members include her two loving daughters Penny Pesaturo and husband Michael of Winslow, ME and Robin Durr and husband William of Basking Ridge, NJ; cherished granddaughter Morgan Durr; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank staff at Dexter House Healthcare and Hallmark Health Hospice of Malden for their comfrot, care and kindness they have given Ina.
