Nicholas Paul Swint
8/18/2000 ~ 5/2/2018
Our son, brother, nephew, grandson and friend was born on August 18, 2000. He tragically and unexpectedly passed away on May 2, 2018.
Nicholas was born in Sandy, UT and lived most of his life in Herriman, UT. He attended Herriman High School where he was completing his junior year. Nicholas enjoyed going to school and loved interacting with everyone and attending his favorite class - History. He could often be found in his bedroom watching the next great history documentary on Netflix. He had recently said he would like to be a history teacher. Nicholas was surrounded by warm, caring, loving teachers and counselors who only wanted him to succeed.
Nicholas mostly communicated by text and rarely answered his phone unless his mother was calling him. He was a huge fan of the Utah Ute's football and basketball teams. He enjoyed attending with his family and friends. He also had a great love of the Miami Dolphins. He could be seen wearing or displaying memorabilia from his favorite teams. Nicholas loved anything outdoors. He loved to camp, fly fish, riding motorcycles, skiing and driving his 4-runner off-road. He loved playing catch with his little brother and hanging out on the Herriman graffiti rock.
Nicholas loved people, he was a people pleaser. Nicholas was someone his friends, parents and siblings could count on. From making sure his little brothers would make it to scouts to picking up friends who didn't have a ride. Nicholas has always had a calming presence, he could just walk in a room and smile and you always knew that everything would be alright.
We miss his beautiful smile and contagious laugh. He loved his family, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was frequently asked by his aunts and uncles to babysit as he was deemed the favorite by his little cousins.
Even though he is no longer here, we know he is beside us when he is not busy helping the Lord teach the gospel and comforting those that are in need in Heaven. He will be truly missed and loved, but knowing he is with the Lord and his grandparents brings great peace to our family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his Papa J which he was so close with and loved so very much.
Nicholas Is survived by his parents Jayme & Paul Swint: siblings Zack (Shanna) White, Oakley, Jaydn, Cade, Jake; Grandparents Nick & Luann Rudelich, Lois Swint and Richard Nelson; numerous aunts and uncles and to top it off his cousins that loved him dearly.

We met online and became a part of a wonderful online family back in 2013 or 2014, I can't quite remember, it's all hazy. I don't know what caused to me look up your name online but I wasn't expecting this. I'm sorry we parted ways on rocky terms but I hope you're happy and looking over your family Nick. Fly high.
