Edna M. Kunna
Harrison Twp. - age 97, passed away on May 6, 2018 in the Bluewater Hospice Home.
She was born on January 3, 1921 in Detroit, daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Laffery.
Edna married Robert J. Kunna in 1942 in Roseville. He preceded her in death in 1980.
She was a very family orientated person. Edna volunteered in her younger years with her mother in a coffee shop.
Edna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert (Carol) Kunna; daughter and son-in-law, Margaret (Jim) Czerwonka; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara (Jim) Rivard; sons: Raymond Kunna and Richard Kunna; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Ruth) Laffery; sister and brother-in-law, Lana (Ray) Hensley and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons: Fred and Joseph Kunna.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron. Pastor Chris Titus will officiate. Burial will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
