It is with great sadness that the family of Irene Swanson of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Bonita Springs, FL and Denver, CO announce her passing on the afternoon of May 10, 2018 at the age of 79. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Wendel Swanson. Irene will be forever remembered by her son Ken (Carol) Swanson of Hollis, NH; son Greg Swanson of Seattle, WA; grandsons - Kyle & Christopher Swanson; and her sister Beverly (Louis) Minafra of Patchogue, NY. It is with much sadness to learn of Irene's passing. She was a beautiful lady and we had so many wonderful times together. Will always remember our ski trips and the laughter we shared. My heart goes out to the family with love and compassion. God be with you.
