Mary M. Giancola

Mary Martha Giancola passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 15, 2018, at Astoria Skilled Nursing in Canton, Ohio. Beloved wife of Santo, who passed away in 1989, she remained devoted to him in prayer and love. She is survived by her three children: Frank (Rosie), Joseph (Helen), and Marianne (Gary Frys of Atlanta, Georgia). Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive. Mary especially showed them love during their overnight sleepovers. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings (Mickey, Billy, Danny, and Janice) all Yentz family. Mary was born in Cleveland's Little Italy, where she met Santo, the love of her life. After moving from Cleveland, they became residents of Mayfield Heights. Mary finally lived at Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford and Astoria Skilled Nursing in Canton. The family wishes to thank the staff at Astoria for loving and caring for her during her final days. Family and Friends are invited to gather for Mary's Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 15712 Kipling Ave., Cleveland 44110 on Friday, May 18, at 10:00 AM, presided over by Fr.
