Carol Jean Kehlmeier, born February 4, 1935 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles, as well as her parents Herbert and Ruth Clark and brother Dr. Michael A Clark. Survived by four sons, Mark (Katherine), Matthew (Kathleen), Martin (Jack), and Michael (Carlon); as well grandchildren, Emily, Anna, David, and Claire. Carol was an accomplished author publishing several novels and numerous short stories and was a long-time columnist for Westerville's Public Opinion. But most importantly, she was a loving wife and mother. Special thanks to dear friends and neighbors, Michael and Gloria Wood and Barbie Isaacs for their thoughtfulness and compassion over the years. Friends and family may call Sunday, May 20 from 2-5 at HILL FUNERAL HOME in Westerville. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, May 21 at 11 AM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4684 E. Walnut Street, Westerville, Ohio. Remembrances can be shared at www.HillFuneral.com.

Dear Carol, We go back many years. Playing school with JoAnn Jones, playing at your house and mine. attending school at Avondale, Starling, and of course graduation from Central in 1953. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
