Joel Locke Obituary

Joel Brady Locke II, 4 years old, of Midland, Texas went to Heaven on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Memorial services will be held 4:00 p.m Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church in Midland. Joel was born on December 18, 2013 in Midland, TX. Joel was a happy boy, who loved to laugh and dance. He loved his family, his dogs, and his cats. Joel was full of love and giggles and the center of his families lives. Joel was a warrior and fighter; in October 2015, Joel survived a terrible accident against all odds. His sweet, yet brave spirit touched all who knew him. Joel is survived by his parents, Dr. Brady and Tiffany Locke; brothers Chase Locke, Cole Locke and Miles Goran. Grandparents, Marilyn and Johnny Grace; Patty Locke and Paul Mackey; Freda Davidson. Godparents, Rosalba and Joaquin Argil; Dr. Carl and Stacy D'Agostino as well as many family and friends. He joined his Grandfathers, John Davidson and Joel Brady Locke I, in Heaven. We are sure Joel is fishing and creating pottery with his Grandpa's. The family would like to thank Midland Fire Department, Midland Police Department, Midland Memorial Hospital, Cook Children's Hospital, Midland Women's Clinic, Dr. Paul Harch and staff, Dr. Sari Nabulsi and staff, and all of Joel's nurses and therapists. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be donated to Team Luke Hope For Minds, PO Box 64323, Lubbock, TX, 79464. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences can be made to www.npwelch.com.

There are not words that heal or quell the sorrow. There is only hope in Christ, and I know He is with you. Bruce and I have prayed for your family and will continue to do so.
