Roy Morriss
1951 - 2018
LeRoy Patrick Morriss passed away in Boise, ID., May 9, 2018. He was born in Boise, ID., January 31, 1951. He attended Borah High School and was an outstanding athlete, excelling in football and wrestling. He was an Eagle Scout.
Roy earned honors at Boise State University in Industrial Mechanics and Automation. He enjoyed music, drawing, pottery and woodworking. Roy was a loving father and husband. He was proud of his family heritage. He loved nature and outdoor recreation. Roy was preceded in passing by his father William Leroy.
He is survived by his mother Lily, six siblings: Bill, Judy Mesick, Ed , Dan, Bob, and Larry, also his wife Carol and their three children Phillip, Jennifer White, and Patrick. Additionally, Roy is survived by his other three children Rick, Heather Fergeson, and Renee Welcome from his previous marriage to Kathleen Foster.
Memorial Services will be held at the LDS Church Building, 701 S. Curtis Rd., Boise, ID., Saturday, June 2, 2018, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation towards Roy's final arrangements at The Cremation Society of Idaho, 5541 W. Overland Rd., Boise, Idaho, 83705
