Linda was a wonderful instructor. She had a fun sense of humor and loved to laugh. One of my absolute favorite instructors from LPN school in 2009, Linda was one of the first to encourage me to press forward to get my RN stripes. Rest easy, my friend.

Before even realizing that I was giving up on being a nurse, Mrs. Stidham told me that she believed in me and not to give up! Learning from a magnificent instructor made Nursing School so much more bearable and fun! Thank you Mrs. Stidham.

Mrs.Stidham was an amazing lady!!! Her spirit lit up a classroom!! She was so passionate about her craft!! I learned so very much from her ! Not only about nursing, but to always have a smile as she did! I will never forget the look on her face when Lindas Ladies gave her a football jersey that we all proudly wore at Race for the Cure. She will be truly missed, and I am happy to have known her !

Mrs. Stidham was one of my favorite LPN instructors. She was a fountain of wisdom. There were several times I struggled though first semester, I would go and visit with her and she would put my fears at ease. She once helped me find a book for class that I wouldnt have been otherwise able to afford, had she not helped me locate one. I had her for our Foley catheter check off and remember being so nervous that I would make a mistake. She was so calm and told me to take my time and I would be fine. I remember during that check off, I was positioning the mannequins leg and accidentally hit myself in the face with it. I had never heard Mrs. Stidham laugh so hard. Needless to say we both had a great laugh that day. She made such a huge impact on my life that I really cannot begin to put into words. I am a better nurse for every lesson I learned from her. She will be truly missed by myself, as well as my former classmates. We love you Mrs. Stidham, may you rest in piece.

Here comes my epistle for Linda. Our friendship began our senior year in High School at Zeeland Community Hospital as work/study CandySripers. And it blossomed from there with each of our professions; to your marriage to John and the birth, growth, and activities of the kids; the "dream" house built into your real house; and those education milestones you achieved after the kids. we kept in touch at first by letters and postcards and visits to wherever you were working. I just found some of those first letters back - had a good chuckle. The notes and visits may have become more infrequent but any phone call was at least an hour long. No topic was exempt - good, bad, or ugly on either side. Our friendship remained strong in Love and our Trust in God for all of life's challenges put before us on this journey called Life. You have achieved your promised inheritance (I Peter 1:3-4), I still need to "Let Go and Let God".
Until we meet at Jesus' feet my friend and sister in Christ, Lu

Mrs. Stidham, was a big influence on me being successful through LPN school and was a great support through anything that was going on wether it be personal or something else she was supportive and understanding. She was an amazing woman that I will truly miss but am thankful that I was blessed to have been able to know her and to have her teach me all that she did while I was a student at BHCLR. All of her family and friends are in my prayers during this time of saddness.

Mrs. Stidham was very special to me! As I started the LPN program I struggled to stay afloat and she was my advisor. I would go visit with her every week and she was always so encouraging and believed in me from the start. She was a funny, kind, and extremely caring person. I will never forget her and how she helped me through such a hard time in my life! Rest In Peace, sweet angel.
