Mariel J. (Miller) Jones
age 87, died Sunday. Born in Malvern she had lived in Canton most of her life. Mariel was a graduate of Massillon Community Hospital School of Nursing, a retired Registered Nurse from Timken-Mercy Medical Center and a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in North Canton.
Preceded in death by her husbands, Jay E. Miller and James R. "Bob" Jones and a brother, Dale Crowl. Survived by daughters, Brenda (Eugene) Caruso of Rock Creek and Cynthia (Peter) Tommaso of Deltona, Florida, sons, Gregory (Diane) Miller of Carrollton and Joel Miller of Santa Monica, California, grandchildren, Ryan and Philip Caruso and Amy, Quinn and Collin Miller, step-grandchildren, Melissa Bibb, Peter Tommaso Jr., Sarah Larner and Jason Cook, many great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Jacqueline Crowl of Mansfield.
Friends may call Tuesday from 12-1 p.m. at the Lamiell Funeral Home followed by a service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Coy. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve. Condolences may be made to:
