Christopher E. Adamski, 44, of Philadelphia, PA, formerly of Douglassville, PA passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Pottstown, PA on July 2, 1973, Chris was the son of the late Kathleen (Newton) Adamski. Chris was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia 76ers. His love of sports continued with his daughter, Alexis. She was his best friend and he loved to play sports with her! He is survived by his partner, Dawn Crompton, Philadelphia, PA; his loving daughter, Alexis Adamski, Boyertown, PA; his aunt and uncle, Jo Anne and Roger Stec, Douglassville, PA; his “furry boys”, Jack and Bruno; and many friends and family. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 4:30 p.m. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’ memory to Abramson Cancer Center – Penn Medicine at https://www.pennmedicine.org/cancer Online condolences may be made to the family at www.houckgofusfuneralhome.com
