A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at St. Alphonsus Church in Maurice for Ricky Jones Duhon, 59, who passed away on June 18, 2018 at his residence after battling cancer. Burial will take place in St. Alphonsus Mausoleum. Ricky loved cooking, camping, and being outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with the family and watching the Saints play football. He was employed with Weatherford for 39 years and was a dedicated and hardworking man who loved to cook for his fellow co-workers. Ricky was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed by all. Ricky, a resident of Lafayette , was the son of Harvey Duhon and the late Laura Boutte Duhon. He is survived by his father; wife of 22 years, Debbie Duhon; daughters, Tonya Fortier and husband, Joe; Mandy LeBlanc and husband, Patrick; Tracy Stelly and husband, Donald and Amber Hammond and husband, Terry; one sister, Wanda May and husband Vernon; one brother, Scotty Duhon and wife, Jennifer; ten wonderful grandchildren that he loved dearly and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Maurice on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 1:30 PM to 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.
