Jeanette G Leary, of Dover, passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Westminster Village. She was 90.
Mrs. Leary was born March 27, 1928 in Wilmington, to the late John Burris Graham and Edith R. Marvel Graham.
She enjoyed life as a mother, grandmother and homemaker. She also enjoyed years of volunteering at Westminster Village, Modern Maturity Center as well as Delaware Hospice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Leary; son Richard J Leary; granddaughter Kelly Fritchman; brothers, Milton and Ronald Graham; and sisters Mary Thompson and Grace Loman.
She is survived by her son, Thomas J Leary (Laurie) of Dover; grandchildren Heather Tunstill of Townsend, Shannon Mesina of Gaithersburg, Md., Dr. Becky Tretina of Smyrna and MacKenzie Giorgio of Oakhurst, N.J.. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Edna Leary, of Ocean Township, N.J.; great-grandchildren Melanie Fritchman, CJ Fritchman, Ty Tunstill and Salvatore Giorgio.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Kelly J Fritchman Swimming Scholarship. Make check payable to "UDAF" and note in memo "Kelly J Fritchman Swimming Scholarship." Address to "UDAF" 83 E. Main St, Newark De 19716.
