Evelyn O. Hawkins
Portsmouth - Evelyn Osborne Hawkins, 91, passed away at home Sunday, June 17, 2018. She was born in Dungannon, VA to the late L.B. and Ella Osborne. Evelyn had many talents, all of which she excelled, and always loved the mountains. She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Russell D. Hawkins.
She is survived by her two children, Lynn Hawkins and Steve Hawkins; two sisters, Ruth O. Watts and Helen O. Smith; a brother, William Osborne; a special friend, Warren Spear; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers, neighbors and friends for their love and care.
A graveside service will be held 3 P.M. today at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
