Bernard J. Sinclair of Plymouth died unexpectedly in Alaska while hiking on June 26, 2018. Born in Framingham on June 20, 1950 he was raised in Natick, MA, the son of Winola (Esancy) Sinclair and the late Donald E. Sinclair. He is survived by his wife Elaine (Coyne) Sinclair and his daughters Maura Sinclair of Plymouth and Sheila Guarnotta Sinclair and her wife Linda Sinclair Guarnotta, also of Plymouth. He is also survived by his siblings, Donna Tronec of Natick, MA, Robert and Jill Sinclair of Norfolk, MA, Kenneth and Rolanne Sinclair of Nashua, NH, Donald and Stephanie Sinclair of Mered ith, NH, Albert and Lylibeth Sinclair of Natick, MA, Frank Chip and the late Patricia Sinclair of Natick, MA, Steven and Nancy Sinclair of Bangor, ME,Lynette Sinclair and her partner Michelle Cot of Natick, MA, and the late Barbara Sinclair of Natick, MA, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Paul and Nancy Nyquist of Stoughton, MA, Scott and Christine McLarnon of Natick, MA, and Katherine Coyne of Weare, NH. He is predeceased by his in-laws James Coyne of Plympton, MA, Michael Coyne of Weare, NH and James and Phyllis Coyne of Canton, MA. Bernie coached Plymouth Girls Softball for many years, was a coach and president of the Plymouth Girls Basketball League, and Natick Youth Hockey. He also coached his brothers youth basketball team. He worked as a carpenter and construction supervisor in both residential and commercial construction for over 50 years. He was a skill ed carpenter who built his own ho me and took pride in his lifes work. Bernie loved sports, working in the garden, working in his workshop, but most of all he loved his family. He was often at a family members home helping with any construction needed. He enjoyed helping others and spending time with dear friends who meant the world to him. Bernie will be remembered by his kindness and gentle heart. He helped countless people over his lifetime and he had a tremendous impact on so many. He was humble and never sought recognition for his many deeds. Visiting hours in the Davis Funeral Home 619 State Rd. Plymouth (Manomet) on Sunday July1st from 4 -8 pm. Funeral Service on Monday July 2 at the Faith Community Church 29 Carver Road, Plymouth at 10:00 am. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Veterans Count, a care coordination program providing support to veterans, service members, and their families. We ate devastated at the sad news of Bernie's death. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Elaine and the girls and the whole beautiful Sinclair Family. We have many fond memories of him that we hold dear to our hearts. Such a wonderful friend, kind, thoughtful, and loved by all whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace our Friend.

I"ve never met a finer gentleman in my life.Bernie was honest, genuine, and a true friend. We had some good times together in our younger days. He certainly will be missed.
