I called her Annie but she was a good friend that I worked with in Houston and Dallas for Delta.

I knew Lisa while attending TexasTech and dated for a while. She continued her education in taking in so many children in need of love that she freely gave. She was unique in that way. I continued my education in medical school but kept up with her sporadically at Delta. If the world was full of Lisas what a wonderful utopia it would be. I was searching for her and just learned of her passing today. With a heavy heart my sympathies go out to all of her children and friends. RIP my friend you have earned your reward at the right hand of God. God bless you all.

So sad to hear of Lisas passing. We were friends back in the 60s and 70s through a mutual friend, Cindy Richardson. Her devotion to her girls was truly amazing. RIP Lisa

I worked with Ann at Delta. She was the most amazing giving person. She always talked about her kids and how proud she was of them. God has taken another Angel way too soon to watch over all her children. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you..May God give you some comfort knowing how wonderful your mother was..

Lisa was such an amazing woman and a fun & loving cousin. I loved the times I would spend in Houston with her and her "girls". I remember when you girls were little and her dream was to be able to adopt you so she could love you forever...and trust me, she did and always will love you forever. I wish you all peace as you travel on this new journey without her by your side, but she is forever in your hearts.
Love your cousin - Sandra

Tomorrow we will say goodbye to Lisa. May the Lord keep her in His tender care. How He must love her! She gave the gift of herself to all the children whose lives she touched. Now they will carry forth her love to the world.

Ann was a quite spirit who did and accomplished big things. What she did with children would be hard to duplicate. Her caring and loving heart for children was a gift from God. We feel that she's gone too soon, however God is STILL in control and will supply all the love needed by her children.

I was a friend of Ann while she was in Houston. She was always smiling and you could tell she loved the children when she came to the office to show the ones she was keeping at the time. May God bless you and the Kids she adopted.
We will continue to pray for your well being.

Thank you my friend......for being a friend when I so needed one. Thank you for all the times we got together over "Rotel and Chips" solving the worlds' problems over the 43 years of our friendship. You will never ever be forgotten.....you have taken a piece of my heart with you. God called another one of his special Angels' home.

Too few of us answer our calling, but Lisa did; and she did it admirably. Not only did she greatly love her adopted daughters, and care about many in the child welfare system who were entrusted to her temporary care; but, she was also completely committed to doing 'her job', even when it was difficult - and with children, it often is. She cared enough to create and enforce needed structure and boundaries with both her foster and adoptive kids, even when it would have been easier not to. This, to me, is true love for a child; because, it prepares them for the world. And, no matter how many challenges Lisa was going through at any given time, if she had any inkling that someone else had a need, the first words out of her mouth to them were always, "What can I do to help?". And, if YOU didn't have any suggestions for how she could help, SHE would come up with some! I'm not sure I've ever had a friend and coworker who was so devoted to being of service to others. She was a Christian; and I can't imagine that devoting her life to others wasn't exactly what God had called her to do. She will be missed! Hugs and love to all her lovely daughters. <

Annie was my first Delta Buddy when I started working for Delta and when we moved to Dallas we were a bunch of misplaced people but always stayed close to each other. Her first priority was her kids. Her face always lit up when she talked about them. She was a true friend.

This being Thanksgiving Day, I'm filled with gratitude for my dear
friend, Lisa. Together, we have shared over four decades of fun, heartaches, births, parties, deaths, weddings, church, school and just plain LIFE.
There will never be another like her!
My comfort is found in the assurance
that Lisa is now in the Lord's presence and loving care.
From the heart, Kathy
