Anthony D. Davis
Hephzibah, GA - Anthony D. Davis, 59, of here and formerly of Berlin, departed this life on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, GA. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Floyd Jarmon and Erma Bowen Davis.
Mr. Davis served in the United States Army and retired after 22 years. He was employed by Graphic Packaging International as a Loader Foreman.
Loving memories will be cherished by: his wife, Marsheila L. Davis; three daughters, Kamesha Johnson (John), Jentry Jones, and Janiah Somerville (Christopher); two brothers, Sylvester Bowen and Michael Showell (Carolyn); a sister, Cynthia Dunston (Tyrone); his father and mother-in-law, Maurice and Gloria Blake; a brother-in-law, Maurice Blake (Yolanda); three uncles; an aunt; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Mr. Davis will lie in repose on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home, P.A., 1618 West Road, Salisbury and Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 405 Flower Street, Berlin. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM.
