Victoria Love Roza

Victoria Love Roza, beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, died peacefully the morning of July 19th, 2018, in Newtown, PA. She was 60 years old. Born to Hubert and Jean Love, she was raised in Southern California, eventually moving to Bucks County in 1990. With her B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cal. Poly. Tech. Univ., and her M.S. from Villanova University, she started her career with Hughes Aircraft. She went on to work for Ideation Intl. where she taught and applied TRIZ theory to businesses around the world. The last 15 years she had spent working for the NJ Department of Health. She was well respected and beloved amongst her colleagues. As part of the emergency response team, she acquired her ham radio license. Through her dedication, she helped the lives of so many with the preparation and execution of emergency services, e.g., during Sandy. Victoria was a dedicated member and supporter of local religious and musical organizations. An active participant of St. Luke's Episcopal Church's services and choir, she was steadfast in her faith, knowing that through God, all things were possible. Her work in music included being a long standing board member of the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, with which she traveled across Europe on several tours with her children. An avid player of baroque recorder, she belonged to multiple ensembles throughout the area. She is survived by her husband Michael Roza, her children Lillian and Martin Roza, and her two sisters Rebecca Marcu, with her husband Mike, and Stephanie Love. Additionally she leaves behind three beloved nieces and nephews, Veronica Love, and James and Alex Marcu, and a godson Liam Neuwirth. Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at St. Lukes Episcopal in Newtown, PA, at 11 AM on Tuesday, July 24th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
