WALLINGFORD - Linda A. Weightman, 74, of Wallingford, died unexpectedly Friday, July 27, 2018, at the Rutland Regional Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Wallingford, the daughter of William V. and Dorothy (Hammond) Nash.
Mrs. Weightman graduated from the Wallingford High School in 1961.
She has been the site manager for the Wallingford Senior Meal program for over 35 years.
Mrs. Weightman enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, crafts, coloring and doing puzzles.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wallingford.
Survivors include a son, Terry Weightman and his fiancée, Ginny, of Wallingford; a sister, Suzanne Audy and her husband, Paul, of New Haven; three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth G. Weightman, in 1966 and a brother, Jerry V. Nash, in 1997.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Wallingford Aldous Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford.
Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery in Wallingford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wallingford Rescue, P.O. Box 246, Wallingford, VT 05773; or to the Wallingford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 280, Wallingford, VT 05773.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Linda from being at my grandfather Regimbald's across the street and as an adult when she came into Senacal's store. Such a pleasant person.
