Bernie Joe McGuire
Tallahassee - Bernie Joe McGuire, affectionately known as "BJ", 57, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home in Tallahassee.
A Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Beggs Funeral Homes, 3322 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, FL 32311, (850) 942-2929.
Bernie was born November 9, 1960 in Perry, Florida to William E. and Kitty L. McGuire.
He lived in Tallahassee for the past 33 years, was a truck driver for National Carriers, a Baptist and was an Air Force veteran. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and lover of the outdoors. Most weekends he could be found camping with his family, hunting with friends, or fishing to his heart's content.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Huff McGuire; son, Henry McGuire; daughter, Latasha McGuire; and a brother, Walt McGuire. He was also an uncle to a host of nieces and nephews.
