Leonard G. Grabosky Sr., a resident of Warrington for almost 50 years, passed away Aug. 10 at his residence. He was 81.
Leonard was the loving husband of Vera Grabosky.
Born in Frackville, Leonard was a son of the late Vitalus and Mary Grabosky.
Leonard was proud to have served with the Army.
He obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from La Salle College in 1973. Leonard retired from Penn Stainless Products, Quakertown.
In his free time, he was an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by a brother, William.
In addition to his wife, Leonard is survived by a son, Leonard G. Grabosky Jr. (Lisa); daughters, Karen Grabosky and Leigh Godshall (Thomas III); five grandchildren, Victoria, Angela, Joshua, Cody and Luke. Also important to Leonard were his chihuahuas, Gracie and Trixie.
Leonard's funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 37 S. Broad Mountain Ave., Frackville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington, and 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will follow in St. Louis Cemetery, Frackville. Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 405, Plumsteadville, PA 18949.
