MARION DEASY
June 13, 1931 ~ August 11, 2018
"Marion will always be remembered as a good,
kind and gentle lady, a dedicated worker,
and a loving wife, sister, aunt, and friend
who was always ready with a big smile."
Marion Deasy, 87, passed away at home in Hazel Dell/ Vancouver, WA on Aug. 11, 2018 from complications from a fall and hip surgery. She was born in Dublin Ireland June 13, 1931, moved to the US in 1959, and lived in Chicago for 2 years. Marion then moved to Los Angeles in 1961 where she worked for 28 years for United Airlines as a Customer Service agent.
In 1989, Marion transferred to Portland, OR where she married her beloved Frank and retired from United in 1991 after 30 years service.
Marion became a US citizen in 1990 and loved politics. When not watching a good debate on TV, she could be found sipping tea reading in her favorite chair, or relaxing on the back deck enjoying a peaceful summer evening. She loved flowers, and always made sure there were fresh flowers from the garden in the house to enjoy.
Marion leaves behind her husband, Frank Bullis; step-son; Dan; and in Ireland, her beloved sister, Ellen and brother-in-law, Peter and all her nieces and nephews.
She joins her family members who have predeceased her, parents, Bridget and Con; and her brothers, Denis, Con, Eddie and Jack, all of whom are greatly missed by family and friends.
"Forever in our hearts, may she rest in peace."
