Douglas Mix, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the age of 81. He leaves his memories his beloved wife Anna Gray Mix, his daughter Kolita Kennedy and a son Armand Mix. One brother Ellis Mix (Linda). Grandchildren Yaisha Kennedy, Bron and Nia Taplin, and Miguel Bailey. Preceded in death by his parents Douglas, Sr. and Alice Mix, a son Alston Mix. Grandson Tyrone Kennedy, Jr., two beloved sisters Evangeline Mix Major and Lynn Mix Brown and one brother Louis Mix was best friend. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home in the Chapel of Roses 1615 St. Philip St., New Orleans, LA 70116.
