Dearest Bryan, I am so sorry you have left us so soon, but I know that God's plans are greater than our own. While I do not understand why this had to happen, I do know that God loves you and that He has brought you to your eternal home at the exact right moment. I will miss you more than you will ever know! Thank you for all the wonderful memories! Love always, Kate

Bryan you will be missed. I always told Bryan someday I was going to grow up & be as tall as him. He was a Gentle Giant to everyone here @ Hendrickson and will be missed. He always had a smile on his face & kind words when he spoke to you. I loved when he would stand up in his cubical he could look all over the office & we use to laugh. He loved his sports & I'm sure God is letting Bryan enjoy himself. My deepest sympathy & prayers to his mother, brother & family members. You now have a guardian angel watching over you. It is with great sadness I find myself in a position to write about Bryan and it is with great honor that I knew Bryan and that I can pay a simple tribute to him as a friend and coworker of 15 years. Bryana BIG guy with an even BIGGER heart. To some, a gentle giant, to others, a Teddy bear and to some on the basketball court and golf course..their greatest competitor. When I remember Bryan in my minds eye, I think of him smiling, laughing and golfing. To all of us who knew Bryan, it was obvious that he committed to achieve at the highest level both personally and professionally. Bryan and I shared many stories, mainly about golf, and I always found myself laughing and smiling after our conversations. I believe we are all a bit more blessed to have known Bryan - a friend that will be missed by all who knew him and remembered by all those who had the pleasure to meet him.
My thoughts and prayers will be focused on Bryan and the family through this difficult time.

Bryan was truly a great man. We developed a friendship early after we met thru business. He mixed integrity with a great personality that was always fun to be with. Beyond just his physical presence he was a pillar of a man in every aspect. You will be sorely missed ole buddy, RIP.

To Bryan's family - we shared this tribute to Bryan with our employees at Hendrickson. No words can adequately convey the magnitude of the impact Bryan had on our lives, but we hope these words offer some measure of comfort during this difficult time.

Bryan was employed at Hendrickson for 15 years. He began his career in materials and most recently worked in the purchasing department as a commodity manager. He was a subject matter expert in materials planning and a resourceful commodity manager whose efforts elevated the performance of these departments. As a co-worker, Bryan was a motivated, positive and thoughtful team player.

But even more importantly, Bryans honorable character was reflected in the bonds and friendships he formed both inside the office and out. As a person, he was warm, patient and kind whose lasting impression from all who met him was, What an all-around great guy.

Bryan shared lifelong passions for basketball, golf and most importantly, his family and friends. He was an accomplished and decorated basketball player winning a state championship at St. Marys Central Catholic High School in Sandusky, Ohio. He also played basketball for the University of Akron on a full athletic scholarship where he was named to the All-American team in 1985 at the center position alongside Patrick Ewing and David Robinson. After college, he played professionally in Europe for several years.

Bryan lived in the Akron area near his beloved mother, serving as her primary caregiver. When he wasnt on the golf course, he was making cherished memories with his brothers, nieces, nephews and countless friends and family.

At 67, Bryan towered above most people, but his physical stature easily paled in comparison to the size of his heart. Bryan was the very definition of chivalry humble, classy, caring and compassionate; a forgotten art in todays fast-paced, hectic world. He taught us that lifes circumstances, no matter how busy or how stressful, should never be an excuse for turning someone away. Bryan always welcomed his friends with a sympathetic ear, open arms and a genuine interest in their well-being. Lou Holtz, legendary coach of Notre Dames Fighting Irish, Bryans favorite football team, once said, I follow three rules: Do the right thing; do the best you can; and always show people you care. Bryan embodied this mantra, and he leaves behind an indelible legacy of humanity and compassion that extends well beyond the walls of Hendrickson. Bryan will be missed greatly and remembered always.

I would first off like to express my deepest sympathy to his family (I will be unable to attend his services). Bryan was not only one of the nicest people I have known, he was a listening ear, good friend, and a very loyal coworker. I sat next to Bryan every day for the last 4 years; and I would like you to know that his presence will be very dearly missed!! I am so glad to have had the pleasure to get to know Bryan in my short few years at Hendrickson! He often spoke of his mother, father, brothers and of his extended family, so much so that I feel like I already know you. Please know that he loved you very much and that it showed in how he spoke of you all! Once again I am very sorry for your loss, and the loss to us all!
