Kane Thomason Obituary

BENZONIA-Kane A. Thomason "Turbo", 19, died September 5, 2018. Born July 20, 1999, the son to Robin (Chaney) and Paul Thomason.

The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him, and women wanted to be with him. Kane loved to tell stories. And you could be sure 50% of every story was true. You just never knew which 50%. He will be remembered for making everyone laugh, even if it means eating worms, and his ability to make a stranger into a friend. While Kane lived life to the fullest making anything an adventure, he had a heart of gold, he was a generous and loyal friend who would help anyone in need.

He had a strong work ethic while working for Triple D Orchards. He was the employee always smiling and willing to help others to get the job done.

Kane loved snowboard, skateboard, fishing, Pure Leaf Tea, working on cars, Reese's Cups, Mountain Dew and saying "I gotch you." Not necessarily in that order. He hated vegetables and hypocrites. Not necessarily in that order.

Kane will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered for years to come. He is survived by his parents; sister, Promise; and brother, Caleb; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service was September 11, at Fresh Winds Community Church. Jowett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Benzonia.
