Lubbock- Timothy Guy Jones, 39, passed away on September 10, 2018 in New York City. His incredible smile, and his sweet heart, will be missed. Guy was born on February 14, 1979 in Lubbock, TX and lived most of his life in the Lubbock area. Guy was a 1997 graduate of Coronado High School. In his last years, he spent his time doing what he loved most, traveling across the USA and making new friends. Guy is survived by his mother Martha Keene and husband Keith, his father Tim Jones, wife Dawn, and stepsister Kaiti, all of Ransom Canyon. Also surviving Guy is his sister Samye Hildebrandt, her husband Casey, 3 nephews Kaleb, Jace and Holt and one niece, Jolie, all of Buffalo Springs Lake. Guy is also survived by his grandparents Walter and Pat Brown of Lorenzo, and Fred and Sandy Jones of Ransom Canyon; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Sister Helen Oko and also to Mt. Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City for the care and compassion of the doctors, nurses, and staff. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 pm in the Lubbock Firefighter's Association Hall, 8517 Urbana, Lubbock, TX. Memorial gifts may be made to Team Luke/Hope for Minds (www.teamlukehopeforminds.org) or First United Methodist Church, Lorenzo, TX.
