My deepest condolences to all of Adele's family. I've been thinking about her since I learned of her passing and just had to write a note. I grew up on Lincoln Dr., several doors from the St. Angelos and remember several of the girls and of course Guy and Flora. I remember Adele best of all as we are close in age. She was always happy and fun to be around. Our parents transported us to CCD classes together often through those years. What really stayed with me was a chance meeting I had with Adele just a few years ago at Albino's market. I knew she was not well, but didn't know any details. I recognized her and spoke and she returned a smile and acted as if we'd been friends for years. Her welcoming and warm smile and manner were truly gifts. She had the soul of an angel, but I know I don't have to tell you that. I just felt the need to tell you that she touched me and I would imagine every one with whom she came into contact. Blessings to you as you mourn her passing. . .she will still live on in your hearts and souls with so many wonderful smiles and memories. . .
