GREENLAND - Andrew P. DiPietro II, 71, of Greenland, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at his home. He was born in Norwalk, Conn., on January 28, 1947 a son of the late Andrew P. and Chiara (Benicaso) DiPietro.
A Navy veteran, Andrew went on to have a 26 year career as a Portsmouth firefighter.
Andrew was an animal lover and avid outdoors man, who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Family members include his wife of 45 years, Kathy (Trowell) DiPietro of Greenland; children, Amy DiPietro of Portsmouth and Brian DiPietro of Greenland; siblings, Mary-Ann Cardillo, Joseph DiPietro and Gloria DiPietro; grandchildren, Dylan, Justin, Ethan and Mariah Cherry and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: At Andrew's request a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Assistance with arrangements was by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Please visit www.RemickGendron.com to view Andrew's memorial website and sign his tribute wall.

Andy was a great guy. He is still thought of, with memories of good times in Firefighter Butch's kitchen.
