HAMPTON - Norma Page (Carter) St. Germain, 92, of Hampton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21, 2018 surrounded by loving family. Norma was born November 25, 1925 in Lynn, Mass., a daughter of the late Kenneth and Irene (Page) Carter.
Norma was raised in Amesbury and graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1943. She and her late husband, Henry A. St. Germain, owned and operated St. Germain's Jewelry Store in Hampton from 1955 until 1984. After retiring, Norma volunteered on many state-wide boards and received the 2009 Rockingham County Volunteer of the Year Award. She also belonged to many Hampton clubs and was most recently an active member of the Hampton Seniors.
Family and her late husband of 54 years, Henry, were the most important part of Norma's life and she was extremely proud of all. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Henry A. Jr., Janice Ann, Michael Roch, and Vicki Jean; her nine grandchildren; and her 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Gonthier of Amesbury, Mass.
