Gilbert, Barbara Ann (Kuras) Mrs. Barbara Ann (Kuras) Gilbert of Millington, MI went to be with her Lord early Friday afternoon September 28, 2018. Barb was 76. Barb was born on February 13, 1942 in Bay City, MI and was the daughter of the late Frank and Albina (Stein) Kuras. On July 17, 1965 Barb married William Gilbert; together they celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing in October of 2017. Barb leaves her three children, Bill (Carole) Gilbert, Cheryl Gilbert, Julie (Michael) Daenzer. Barb also leaves two grandchildren, Zachary Daenzer, and Lexi Daenzer, and one great-granddaughter, Shelby. Besides her parents and husband, Barb is also preceded in death by her sister Audrea. The Gilbert family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. On Tuesday, October 2, 2018 Barb will lie in state at St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Richville, MI from 10:00am until 11:00am at which time the service will begin. There will be a dinner following the service. In keeping with her wishes cremation will follow. The burial of the urn will be a private service at St. Michael's Lutheran Church cemetery at a later date. Gifts of remembrance can be directed to St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
