Laura (Ashbrook) Irsik, 51, of Brighton, Colorado passed away Oct. 11 at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Laura was born Jan. 6, 1967, in Denver, to Sharon (James) and Lyle Ashbrook.
Laura attended public schools in Thornton. Laura married Steve Irsik June 29, 2001, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She worked for Children's Hospital in medical billing for 10 years. She lived in Brighton for the last 19 years. Laura loved photography, reading, gardening, her dogs and, more importantly, her family. She would give her shirt off her back to help others and loved her family. and she was an inspiration to those who knew her.
Survivors include her husband, of Brighton; her mother, of Northglenn; her father, of Fort Lupton; her daughter, Rachel (Josh) Allen, of Brighton; her twin sons, Jeremy and Zach Irsik, of Brighton; and her three siblings, Susan Whitsel. of Colorado Springs, Donna Ashbrook-Camp, of Thornton, and Darrell Ashbrook of Virginia.
Make all memorial contributions to Gentle Barn Foundation, 15825 Sierra Highway, Santa Clarita, California 91390.
Memorial services were Oct. 16 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements.
