Barbara Larocque Obituary

Barbara Larocque, age 99, of Raynham, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018. Daughter of the late John and Mary Doherty, Barbara was born and educated in Somerville. Barbara enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family. Prior to her retirement, she worked in the office of Reed and Barton for many years. Barbara lived in Taunton for many years and then relocated to Raynham. Loving wife of the late Maurice Larocque, Barbara was the aunt of Elizabeth Doherty of Fall River, Jake Doherty of New York City, and Nancy Peterson of Marblehead. She also leaves behind her cousins, Maureen Williams of Taunton and Gail Rezendes of Norton and many other family members from her husbands side. She was the sister of the late John Doherty Jr. and Marie Brown. A funeral service will be held in the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay St., Taunton, on Friday, October 19, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the Mayflower Hill Cemetery.
