Mrs. Edna Ruth Sharpe Albright Trull, 91, of Graham, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2018 in the early morning hours at home.
Edna was born in Alamance County. She was the wife of the late David Hedrick Albright and John Stacey Trull, who survives and the daughter of Arthur Dean "A.D." Sharpe and Preto Edna Capes Sharpe, both deceased. Mrs. Trull retired from Western Electric. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and the Senior Club of the church. She was also a member of the Gideons.
In addition to her loving husband of 63 years, survivors include a daughter, Deborah Albright White and husband John Jeffrey White of Reidsville, NC; two grandchildren that she adored, Donald Carey Matheson and wife Christina Matheson of Mooresville, NC and Andrea Matheson Coe and husband Chris Coe of Greensboro, NC; seven great-grandchildren, Macie and Chandler Coe, and Salem, Jax, Sawyer, Creed and London Matheson; one sister, Kay Sharpe Black of Graham; and one brother, Larry Sharpe and wife Bonnie of Gaffney, SC; three sisters in law, Doris Sharpe, Ethelyn Trull Fitch and Shirley Trull; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Ben, Richard and Jimmy Sharpe and two sisters, Jeanette Sharpe Bryant and Geraldine Sharpe Woody Allen.
The funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Baptist Church on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. by Rev. David Jackson with the family receiving friends from 3:00 until 4:45 p.m. prior to the service. A private burial will be held at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the loving caregivers, Grace Underwood and Denise Edwards for the wonderful care given to Edna.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215 or to Bethel Baptist Church, 238 Dixon Rd, Graham, NC 27253.
