Cameron "Cammie" Christine Brown, age 34, of Reynoldsburg and a 2003 graduate of Licking Heights. She is survived by her daughter, 5 year old Payton Christine Brown whom she loved beyond words. She would hate she was taken away from her daughter; mother, Sonya (Eli) Matalon of Reynoldsburg who will never be the same without her; father, Mike Brown of Blacklick; brother, Michael (Megan) Brown of London, Ohio who will miss her dearly; sister, Marsha Goings of Pataskala; stepbrother, Joe Matalon of Charleston WV; nephew twins, Michael and Mason Brown; nephew, Cody Wickman; niece, Talise Spyrgeon; and an outpouring of family and friends. Cameron served in the Army 8th Ordnance Company Fort Brag, NC from Jan 2006 to Sept 2010 as an ammunition specialist. She spent 15 months in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where she was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for exceptionally meritorious service. After Cameron's tour in Iraq was over, she deployed to Korea for 15 months. Cameron was awarded numerous awards including Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2nd award) Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon. Cameron was a dare devil and adventurous with a beautiful heart. Her beautiful smile and laughter was contagious! A funeral service will be held 5 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2018 with a visitation 2-5 p.m. prior to the service at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. How do you start your day knowing cousin CaMMie viewing is today. And now she joins my aunt Kim,mom Tonya,uncle Ron ,mawma Sandy cousin Krissy. Tears and heartache 4 there's no other way. CaMMie cared about people. Kind and compassionate. Accomplished and just plain gorgeous. She walked into a room and owned it just like her beautiful mom and my aunt Sonya. My heart brakes a little more each time. Aunt Sonya and daughter little Payton her Dad Big Mike and little bro Michael I love you I'm holding you close and keeping thoughts & prayers that you may get thru this trying time together. God gained a angel and so did you. I love so very much.❤❤

Cameron brought so much "life" to my existence. She was truly one of a kind. A kind soul with so much love to give. I thank God for bringing her into my world. I will cherish all the beautiful memories we made together.
