Richard Viagran born on August 25, 1946; went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2018 at the age of 72. He served his country in the United States Army and was a recipient of the bronze medal and Purple Heart. He is preceded in death by his parents Guillermo and Celia Castro Viagran, and siblings: Esther Esparza, Willie Viagran and Annie Garansuay. Survivors include his loving wife of almost 19 years Rebecca Viagran, daughter Madalyn Otero, son-in-law Carlos Otero, grandson Carlitos Ortero, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church with a procession from the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
