It was my good fortune to know Ben and a kinder, gentler soul would be hard to find. A true gentleman.

Dear Irene,
I was so sorry to read about Ben when I went online today. I remember our favorite pews in church and waving to Ben sitting in his wheel chair by the confessionals like it was yesterday. I miss our little church and you and Ben and all the familiar faces that we would see every Saturday at mass. I know you took wonderful care of him and that should ease your heart. I hope you are feeling well and my prayers are with you as well as for Ben.
