Val Pochay Obituary

Val E. Pochay, 72, of Carver, formerly of Randolph, passed away on November 7, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Pochay; loving father to James Pochay and his wife Trisha of Marshfield and Jill Favreau and her husband Stephen of Carver; cherished grandfather of Nick Pochay and Lexi Pochay and Emily and Daniel Favreau; brother to George Pochay of Maine, Peggy Pochay of Bridgewater and Paul Pochay of Bridgewater. Val is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 9, from 12-2 p.m. with a service set to begin at 2 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St. (Rte. 58), Carver. Graveside services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Heroes in Transition, 22 Bates, Suite 135, Mashpee, MA 02649.
