Joseph "Muddie" Green Jr., 71, a native and resident of Klotzville, departed this life Sunday Oct. 28, 2018.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9 at Williams and Southall Funeral Home, 5414 La. 1 in Napoleonville, and from 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10 at Virginia Baptist Church in Ewellville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Barbara Green; sons, Dr. Garland Green Sr. and Jason Green; daughters, Tiffanie (Raymond) Ollis, Tarwarnisha Thompson and Yeshecia Green; brothers, Paul, Lionel and Udell Green; sister, Christine Herbert; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Joseph Green Sr.; sons, Juan and Gerald Green; one sister; four brothers; and one son-in-law.
Arrangements are by Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville.
