Bernice Cecelia Christensen (Harvey), 101, died October 13, 2018 at Cascade Valley Hospital, Arlington, WA, after a brief illness. Bernice was born August 22, 1917 in West Pawlet, Vermont. At a young age she was adopted by Grace and Alfred Harvey. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Christensen. She is survived by her step-daughter, Diane Blair of Henderson, NV, and two step-sons, Wendell and Kenneth Christensen both of Marysville, WA, Bernice is also survived by her four grandsons, one grand daughter and five great grandchildren. For the past four years Bernice has been a resident at Arlington Rehabilitation and Care Center in Arlington. Bernice enjoyed her time with friends and family and the staff at Arlington Rehabilitation. At her request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Arlington Rehabilitation, Cascade Valley Hospital and Dr. David Janeway for all the kind care she received. A special thanks to Jan Wallis and Father Ramon for their friendship and support during Bernice's final days.

Sorry to hear of Bernice's passing. She and Kermit use to come to the dances I played for at various Eagles Clubs. They were really nice enjoyable people.
