JOHN AND I WORKED TOGETHER FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS IN THE ASSESSOR'S OFFICE. HE WAS AN OUTSTANDING MEMBER OF OUR OFFICE AND WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN SEEING US THROUGH SOME VERY DIFFICULT TIMES IN THE WORLD OF PROPERTY TAXATION. PARAPHRASING A FORMER MARIN COUNTY ASSESSOR BERT BROEMMEL...........JOHN DID A TOUGH JOB EXTREMELY WELL.
HE WAS A MAN OF CHARACTER, LOYALTY TO HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND IT WAS AN HONOR TO HAVE KNOWN AND BEEN HIS FRIEND FOR SO MANY YEARS.
