Betty A. Smith
Age 83, of Canton died Friday, November 16, 2018 in her home following an extended illness. Born December 3, 1934 in North Adams, Massachusetts to the late Raymond C. and Ruth E. (Grogan) Bliss. She was a Canton resident since 1977 and a member of Whipple Ave Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Gilbert E. Smith; three children and spouses, Frederick and Carol Smith, Pamela Tolin, Kimberly and David Minor; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Norma Cutting.
Funeral services will be Monday, Nov. 19, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave with Pastor Dave Denny officiating. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Memorial donations may be made to the Aultman Hospice Program.
