Sympathy and good wishes to the Hamer family from another descendant of the Nebraskans and Iowans who came west to Longview as the Depressiion wound down. The Hamers and the families of Wayne and Miriam Reichstein and of Ross and Mary Thompson (my parents) all lived on Ocean Beach Highway and enjoyed good times together. Monte's sparents, Tom and Ev, were wonderful parts of our extended family. - Martin Thompson, Santa Rosa, California
